The "Daily Show" host tore into the president's attempt to remake America.
“Daily Show” host Jon Stewart on Monday warned that in less than one year, President Donald Trump has dragged the United States into a “confusing, dark place.”
Just days into 2026, the administration has done everything from placing steak atop the food pyramid to Trump declaring himself the “acting” president of Venezuela after sending the U.S. military to remove its leader, Nicolás Maduro, and bring him and his wife, Cilia Flores, to New York to face criminal charges.
“We are on the Donald Trump Gravitron,” Stewart said, referring to the carnival ride that spins and uses centrifugal force to pin riders against the wall. “We don’t know what up or down is, we just know it feels like we’re all gonna vomit!”
Trump has also threatened Iran, declared that the United States would take Greenland “one way or another,” and sent the Justice Department after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
“This president has made monumental changes to the manner in which this country operates,” Stewart said.
The actor shared her thoughts on the harsh criticism of her performance in "Song Sung Blue," for which she is nominated for a Golden Globe.
The star was recognized with the 2026 Carol Burnett Award ahead of the 83rd annual Golden Globes.
Many people are expressing their support for the Oscar-winning actor.
“As an adult woman? No thank you,” the comedian said after giving her take.
Awards season is ramping up, and there's a whole new slate of TV series and movies to get into in 2026.
“I literally could not believe my eyes,” Kelly said.
The two actors were married in 2005 and later split in 2015.
“But I’m going to crack it," the comedian promised ahead of hosting Sunday's ceremony.
Spencer Pratt, a reality television personality who lost his home in the deadly Palisades wildfire last year, said that he intends to run for mayor of Los Angeles.
The actor's appearance at the world premiere of his film "Is This Thing On?" last fall drew heavy scrutiny online.
“This is honestly what’s behind it,” Yang said before giving his frank reason.
Filmmaker Josh Safdie said his star was adamant about how one of the movie's wildest scenes would go down.
