Sidhu Moose Wala murder accused Siddhesh Kamble revealed to the police that he knew about the plot to kill the Punjabi singer a week in advance.
Siddhesh Kamble alias Mahakal, an accused in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, has claimed that he knew about the murder of the Punjabi singer a week in advance.
The Punjabi singer was shot dead on May 29.
A senior Maharashtra Police official had said that Mahakal was not directly involved in the murder, but according to the information received so far, he knew that Moosewala was going to be killed.
Kamble, who was arrested by the Pune Rural police a week after the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, also revealed that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had threatened Bollywood actor Salman Khan for publicity.
Kamble is suspected to be one of the eight sharpshooters named by the Punjab police in the murder of the Punjabi singer. He is from Pune district.
According to reports, Mahakal is also a henchman of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He has been questioned by both the Delhi and Punjab police in connection with the murder. Additionally, the Mumbai Crime branch has also interrogated him in the case of threatening Salman Khan.
Police have said that Vikram Brar, who is running the Lawrence Bishnoi gang from Canada, had spoken with him about Moose Wala on the phone several times.
