Wicketkeeper Mohammed Rizwan has lashed out at the critics of the Pakistan team by saying that the players aren't here to answer anyone. Rizwan also said that the squad and the team management are focused on working on their weaknesses.
Star batter Mohammed Rizwan has slammed the critics of the Pakistan team by saying that there players are not here to answer anyone.
There has been criticism levelled at the team after their Asia Cup final loss and the recent series defeat at home to England, with many playing down their chance for success in the World Cup.
Recently, Wasim Akram grilled batting coach Mohammed Yousuf and said that the Pakistan batters aren't versatile enough.
“We are trying, as players and even the team management, to focus and work on our weaknesses. We are humans, too. And I think we have done some improvement on them as well,"

Rizwan, who played a big role in Pakistan's win over Bangladesh in the first T20I on Friday, slammed the critics. The wicketkeeper, as quoted by Hindustan Times, said that the players aren't answerable anyone and they will go about doing their job by playing cricket. He said that if the critics are thinking about the benefit of the team then the players salute them.
