Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Patil Danve slammed Shiv Sena for taking a dig at the central government's decision to run a special train for the Konkan region ahead of the Ganpati festival. Danve flagged off a Konkan-bound train booked on FTR (Full Tariff Rate) through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation IRCTC) from the Dadar station.
