Mercedes-Benz recently revealed the new Mercedes-EQS electric sedan with a launch slated for late this year.

Snapped undergoing high-performance tests at the Nürburgring was this AMG-tuned Mercedes EQS which will make it to showrooms in spring 2022. Clearly visible are carbon-ceramic brake discs and yellow, AMG-branded calipers in front. It’s unclear at this stage whether there will be design modifications to the front and rear fascia, but if so, they’ll be subtle and are still hidden under wraps. Mercedes-Benz recently revealed the new Mercedes-EQS electric sedan with a launch slated for late this year. The car might sit a tad lower than its regular stablemates and might become an inch or two wider. What’s certain, though, is that the AMG-EQS will receive an all-wheel drive and a power output of 751bhp. The AMG powertrain will be developed to compete against Tesla’s Plaid drivetrain. Dubbed as the Mercedes-AMG EQS 63, the performance version of the electric sedan will come with an upgraded chassis from the EQS to handle the extra load from the AMG-tuned electric powertrain.
