A mechanical engineer from MP's Narmadapuram, allegedly died by suicide by wrapping a polythene around his face.
In a shocking incident, a mechanical engineer in MP's Narmadapuram died by suicide due to some illness. As per the police reports, the deceased was suffering from depression and had allegedly committed suicide at his rented house.
Police revealed that he wrapped a polythene bag around his face and died of suffocation. His landlord informed the Kotwali police station when the deceased did not open the door in the morning.
When the police reached the spot, they saw a dead body lying on the mattress with a small Co2 cylinder in his room. The face of the deceased was covered with polythene.
Talking to India Today, Kotwali police station in-charge Santosh Singh Chauhan said that police have yet to find any suicide notes.
The police are currently investigating to find out whether carbon dioxide gas has also been used for suicide or not.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
