PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has been placed under house arrest till further orders.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti, who led a protest in Jammu against the civilian killings by security forces on Wednesday, has been placed under house arrest till further orders.
Leading the protest, Mufti demanded handing over the bodies of the deceased to their families.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
