Many turncoats have spoken to me about leaving BJP, returning to TMC: Mukul Roy

Mukul Roy said on Tuesday that many turncoats who had switched over to the BJP have spoken to him about rejoining West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's TMC.

Mukul Roy, who returned to the Trinamool Congress (TMC) from the BJP, is now claiming that others might follow suit. Roy said on Tuesday that many turncoats who had switched over to the BJP have spoken to him about rejoining West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's party. “Many of them have spoken to me,” said Mukul Roy when asked whether other turncoats were keen to return to TMC. Roy made the statement after his meeting with West Bengal Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee at the latter's residence in South Kolkata on Tuesday. This was Mukul Roy’s first visit to Partha Chatterjee’s home since his return to the TMC on June 12 in the presence of CM Mamata Banerjee and her nephew, MP Abhishek Banerjee.
