A cop from Mangaluru has been suspended for attending a rave party in Hassan, Karnataka.

A police head constable has been suspended for attending a rave party in Hassan, Karnataka. The accused cop, Srilatha, is attached to the Economic Offences and Narcotics police station in Mangaluru. She has now been placed under suspension for reportedly participating in the rave party organised at an estate on the outskirts of Alur taluk in Hassan district on April 10. "She, along with her son went to a rave party. When there was a raid, she misused her power. She also claimed to be from the city crime branch department," Mangaluru Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar on Saturday said.
