
Man slits 42-year-old woman's throat in Delhi's Dwarka for ignoring him, held

The accused Krishna slit the throat of 42-year-old Monika Sharma in South West Delhi's Dwarka with a knife after she started ignoring him continuously. He was arrested within a few hours by Dwarka police.
A 42-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her lover in South West Delhi's Dwarka after she started ignoring him on a regular basis, police said on Sunday. The accused, identified as Krishna, was in love with one Monika Sharma, who started ignoring him for the last few days. Irked over the same, he murdered the woman by slitting her throat with a knife.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
