Man impersonates BHEL officer, dupes engineer of Rs 6 lakh on pretext of job in Bhopal

A fraudster allegedly posing as a BHEL officer duped an engineer of Rs 6 lakh on pretext of giving him a permanent job in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal.
Police filed a complaint against a fraudster for reportedly posing as a fake Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) officer and duping an engineer of Rs 6 lakh. The suspect impersonated a BHEL officer and introduced himself as deputy general manager of BHEL and cheated the engineer.
Police were quoted by the Free Press Journal (FPJ) as saying that a conman lured an engineer into getting a permanent job in BHEL and duped him of Rs 6 lakh. According to police, the conman is a native of Datia district and was arrested by police for posing as IAS officer four years back.
