Man found dead in pond of Morningside Park in NYC

A man was found dead in the pond of Manhattan’s Morningside Park early Sunday, according to police.

The unidentified man — who is believed to be in his 30s — was found in Morningside Pond near 114th Street just before 9 a.m., the NYPD said. Police officers could be seen early Sunday covering the body as they prepared to remove it from an edge of the pond covered in rocks.
