The Delhi Police on Friday arrested a man for impersonating an Army officer. The impostor, identified as 40-year-old Dilip Kumar, is a resident of Sainik Enclave in New Delhi. According to police, the accused would introduce himself as Captain Shekhar of the Indian Army to make friends with women on social media. The matter came to light on Friday afternoon when Sub Inspector Dheeraj received information regarding a person impersonating an Army officer near Archana red light in GK-1.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
