West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited Delhi this week. During her stay, she called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Sonia Gandhi. She also met some leaders of the opposition party, raising speculations about the possible united opposition front ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

"Ab poore desh mein khela hobe" (game will be on all over the country)". With this remark in Delhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has blown the poll bugle for 2024 Lok Sabha election. After a historic victory against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal, the feisty leader of the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) has now set her eyes on Delhi. It all started before Mamata Banerjee landed in the national capital on Monday evening.
