
Maine woman missing in Times Square found safe in Queens

The Maine woman who was reported missing after she was last seen getting into a car in Times Square was found safe in a Queens hostel on Friday, police and sources said.
Christine Hammontree, 29, was found unharmed in Long Island City Friday evening, and the missing persons case is closed, according to the NYPD. Detectives identified the car she was last seen getting into with a group of people in Midtown, spoke to the driver, and found that Hammontree was staying at a hostel across the East River, police sources said.More Related News
