Maharashtra Sadan Scam: Plea filed in HC seeking intervention in petition filed by Deepak Deshpande

Deepak Deshpande had been accused of providing false and non-realistic information and preparing false balancesheet showing a prospective profit of only 1.33 per cent to the developer, which was indeed 365.36 per cent.

Activist Anjali Damania who challenged Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Chhagan Bhujbal’s discharge by special court has now filed another application in Bombay High Court. This time Damania is seeking intervention in a petition filed by Bhujbal's co-accused Deepak Deshpande.

Deshpande's plea for discharge in the Maharashtra Sadan Scam had been rejected by the Special Court. Therefore, he had approached the High Court with a revision plea.
