Ahead of Diwali, the Maharashtra government has issued a fresh set of guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The government statement appealed to the citizens to avoid crackers as the smoke and particulate matter emitted by them would create problems for Covid patients or those who have just recovered from Covid or those with breathing ailments. “Citizens should opt for celebrations with decorative lights,” it read.
