Maharashtra crisis: Uddhav camp likely to seek urgent hearing on pleas before Supreme Court tomorrow

The pleas on the Maharashtra political crisis are likely to be listed for an urgent hearing on Monday by the Uddhav Thackeray camp.
The Uddhav Thackeray faction is likely to mention the pleas on Maharashtra political crisis before the Supreme Court and seek an urgent hearing on the matter tomorrow.
Till late this night, the petitions related to the Maharashtra crisis were not mentioned in the list of hearings of the apex court even though the petitions are slated to be heard tomorrow.
If the matters aren't listed for urgent hearing, Congress leader and senior advocate Kapil Sibal will request an early hearing on Monday.
Sources have claimed that Kapil Sibal will request the Supreme Court to hear the matter urgently on Monday. The sources in the registry indicated that the approval from the Chief Justice of India (CJI) is pending on these matters.
One state which has held the interest of the entire country in the past month is the state of Maharashtra, for reasons which the country and its politics are not exactly alien to.

The Supreme Court will hear the petition filed by the Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction opposing the governor's decision to invite rebel MLAs to form the government in the state. The bench will hear the petitions on trust vote issues, appointment of chief whip in the Assembly by the newly-elected speaker and disqualification pleas pending against 16 rebel Sena MLAs.
