
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray not angry with Home Ministry, says Dilip Walse Patil

After his meeting with CM Uddhav Thackeray, Maharashtra Home minister Dilip Walse Patil said that the chief minister is "not angry with the Home ministry", adding, "Sanjay Raut's sentiments are right".
Maharashtra Home minister Uddhav Thackeray's office has issued a statement in response to media reports suggesting that the Shiv Sena is upset with state Home minister Dilip Walse Patil for 'being soft' on the BJP. The statement was issued after a meeting between CM Thackeray and Patil on Friday.
"I have full confidence in my colleagues and they are doing good work," the statement issued by the Maharashtra CMO said.
Dilip Walse Patil, on the other hand, said that any shortcomings of the state home department will be rectified. Over the last few days, there have been rumors that the Chief Minister and several leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi are angry with the Home Minister, he added.

"The Chief Minister is not angry with the Home Ministry. The state government is working with mutual trust. Sanjay Raut's sentiments are right. If there is any shortcoming in our department, it will be rectified," Patil said.
Before his meeting with CM Thackeray, Maharashtra Home minister Dilip Walse Patel chaired a meeting of senior officials of the Home Ministry to discuss the launch of the 112 police helpline number. The number will be launched on Saturday.
Earlier this week, media reports hinted that all was not well within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
