The Bombay High Court dismissed an appeal against conviction filed by a Kolhapur resident, who was accused of killing his wife and sentenced to life imprisonment.
The accused, Sanjay Vishwas Kengar, had allegedly murdered his wife Aarti at their matrimonial house in Maharashtra's Kolhapur on June 14, 2014. Putting a doubt on her character, the accused had hit his wife with a heavy stone block used for grinding spices.
