
Maha CM Uddhav skips Lata Mangeshkar award event, meets 80-year-old Shiv Sainik instead

Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray visited 80-year-old Shiv Sainik Chandrabhaga Ganpat Shinde at her home in Mumbai on Sunday evening. At the same time, PM Modi was being conferred the first Lata Mangeshkar Award in the city.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
