As a way to promote their eatery, the owners of Sukanya Biryani stall in Madurai had announced that anyone who would bring a 5 paise coin would get free Biryani as an inaugural offer. Little did they know about the commotion their announcement was going to create. To their shock, hundreds gathered in front of the shop with a 5 paise coin each after reading the posters in the Sellur region. At one point, more than 300 people surrounded the Biryani shop where Covid-19 protocols seemed to be a far-fetched reality. The owners were faced with no other option but to bring down the shutters.
