A video of the madrassa teacher making the threat had surfaced on social media, the Times of India reported. In an interview with a TV channel, the madrassa teacher had reportedly announced the Rs 1 crore reward for anyone who beheads the priest. The teacher had taken exception to the priest's alleged remarks targeting people of a particular community.
