Lucknow’s Aishbagh Ramleela is all set to be staged today but without audiences, keeping the safety of people in mind. However, it has been decided that the entire Ramleela will be webcast, making it accessible for viewers across the world.
Lucknow’s historic Aishbagh Ramleela will start from Thursday without an audience, keeping the safety of people in mind. Due to Covid-19, it will be streamed online for the second consecutive year.
The decades-old Ramleela, which was otherwise staged by around 300 artists at the Aishbagh Ramleela ground, will now be performed by only a few local theatre artists with some artists from Bengal.
