Lt. Gov. Hochul rides the subway in NYC as Cuomo remains holed up in Albany

The Lexington Avenue line goes uptown, but not that far, lieutenant governor!

New York’s typically low profile second-in-command, Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul took a Big Apple subway ride late Wednesday, in a trip that went unnoticed until it was publicized by her suddenly more active staff with a Twitter post. The Buffalo resident remains a press conference away from replacing embattled Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who has been holed up in the Executive Mansion, where he was spotted by The Post poolside on Thursday.
