Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Andhra witnesses record turnout of over 14 lakh pilgrims since shutdown

Over 14 lakh pilgrims visited the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Andhra Pradesh in February this year. This was the record turnout after Tirumala Tirupati was opened on June 8 post Covid-19 lockdown.

The Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Andhra Pradesh witnessed a record turnout of pilgrims after Tirumala Tirupati was opened on June 8 post Covid-19 lockdown. Over 14 lakh pilgrims visited the temple in Andhra Pradesh in February. The 'hundi'(offering box) collections at the temple stood at Rs 90.45 crore. The hill shrine, which offers "laddus" as "prasadam", also recorded 76.61 lakh worth sale.
