The Ghaziabad Police has registered a case against local Samajwadi Party leader Ummed Pahalwan Idrisi for “spreading communal hatred” on social media after the Loni assault incident.
The Ghaziabad Police on Wednesday evening registered a case against a local Samajwadi Party leader Ummed Pahalwan Idrisi for “spreading communal hatred” on social media, specifically Facebook, after the Loni assault case. Idrisi is the same leader who accompanied the elderly victim in the assault case to the police station to file the original FIR on June 7. According to the FIR, Idrisi has been charged under sections 153A (promoting enmity), 295A (outraging religious feelings), 504 (insult), 505 (intent to incite) and 67 (transmitting obscene material online). The case was registered at Loni Border police station.More Related News
