A team from INS Shivaji, a naval station based in Lonavala, spotted Farhan lying dead in the gorge.
It is possible that the engineer may have slipped and fallen in the gorge. However, an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of Farhan’s death.
Farhan went for an official trip to Kolhapur. After finishing his work, he decided to go on a trek on Friday afternoon.
