'Let state not be shamed further': Bombay High Court orders water supply to Maharashtra village

The Bombay High Court ordered the Maharashtra government to ensure immediate supply of drinking water to the the residents of Kambe village at Bhiwandi, saying name of Maharashtra "will be tainted if we can't supply water to people" and that let it "not be shamed further".
The Bombay High Court on Friday ordered the Maharashtra government to prepare a blueprint of how drinking water would be supplied on a daily basis to the residents of Kambe village at Bhiwandi in neighbouring Thane district. The high court directed the Maharashtra government to ensure immediate supply of drinking water to the village saying name of Maharashtra "will be tainted if we can't supply water to people" and that let it "not be shamed further".More Related News
