Reacting to the fraudulent vaccination camps being organised at private housing societies, colleges and production houses, Aditya Thackeray said the state government would let the police do their job first before taking any action.
Responding to the cases of vaccination fraud in Mumbai, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Aditya Thackeray has said the state government would take appropriate action only after the police complete their investigation and file a report. The first case of a probable vaccination scam emerged from the Hiranandani Heritage Society in suburban Kandivali. The recipients had alleged that none of them got any symptoms after receiving the jabs. Their doubts were aggravated when they started receiving vaccine certificates in the name of different hospitals. In a complaint submitted to the police, the residents had said a vaccination camp was arranged by the residential complex on May 30. But later it was found that the Co-Win portal did not have any record of the people who participated.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
