
Last date to submit suggestions on Telangana’s draft bill for gig workers extended by three weeks

Deadline extended for submitting views on Telangana Gig Workers Bill to April 29, 2025, through email or physical copy.
The last date to submit views and suggestions on the draft bill of ‘Telangana Gig and Platform Workers (Registration, Social Security and Welfare) Act, 2025’ has been extended by three weeks from April 29, 2025. Its earlier last date was on Tuesday (April 28, 2025). The deadline was extended in view of the representations received from stakeholders.
The bill can be accessed at the State Labour department’s website https://labour.telangana.gov.in/home.do and at the State Government’s portal https://www.telangana.gov.in/.
“The views / suggestions of the stakeholders shall be furnished through email: tg.gig.labour@gmail.com or can also be submit through physical copy title captioned ‘Suggestions on Gig workers Bill” on the cover page, in the office of the Commissioner of Labour, Telangana, TAKS Bhavan, RTC X Roads, Hyderabad,” as per official communication issued on Tuesday (April 29, 2025).
