RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has filed a fresh bail petition in the case related to illegal withdrawal of Rs 3.13 crore from the Dumka treasury.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has filed a fresh bail petition in the case related to illegal withdrawal of Rs 3.13 crore from the Dumka treasury. He was sentenced to 7 years under two sections in Dumka Treasury case. His bail plea was earlier rejected by the Jharkhand High Court in the Dumka treasury case on February 19, 2021. The court said since the RJD supremo has to serve two more months in jail to complete half of the tenure of his total sentence in the case, the bail plea is not granted and asked him to file a fresh application after two months.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
