Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar said that RJD supremo Lalu Prasad can get him shot but can't do anything else to him. His comments came as a reaction to the former CM's 'visarjan' comment on Nitish Kumar and NDA govt in the state.

"Goli marwa sakte hain, aur kuch nahi kar sakte hain wo. Wo chahein to goli marwa sakte hain... (He can get me shot. He can't do anything else. If he wants, he can get me shot...)," said Nitish Kumar.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
