L. Murugan, Annamalai, G.K. Vasan condole E.V.K.S. Elangovan’s death

Union Minister and TMC president mourn the death of TNCC leader E.V.K.S. Elangovan, highlighting his political contributions and bold personality.
Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. L. Murugan, State BJP president K. Annamalai and Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar) President G.K. Vasan condoled the death of Senior Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) leader and Erode (East) MLA E.V.K.S. Elangovan.
In his condolence message, Mr. Murugan recalled that Elangovan involved himself in politics from a young age and served as Union Minister and current sitting MLA.
In a separate statement, Mr. Vasan recalled that Elangovan through his hard work went on to become TNCC chief and Union Minister and contributed to the growth of Tamil Nadu.
“Elangovan spoke his mind boldly. He used to boost the morale of his party cadres. His demise is a great loss to TNCC and Tamil Nadu,” Mr. Vasan said in his condolence message.
Mr. Annamalai too posted a condolence message in X, formerly Twitter.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Friday pledged to mobilise people in resistance against the BJP-led Union government’s “anti-agricultural worker, anti-farmer, anti-worker, anti-people” laws and policies till they are all repealed, the party said on Friday. In a statement issued here, the CPI(M) said the members took the pledge following a three-day meeting held at Thiruvananthapuram.
