Much before he made his Bollywood debut, Kunaal Roy Kapur made his acting debut with a TV show titled Just Mohabbat. In the show, he played the role of Sanjay alongside Vatsal Sheth. Merely after one television show, Kunaal Roy Kapur seemed to lose interest in the medium and moved on to doing theatre and films. In an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, the actor revealed that he started doing photography as he wasn't keen to do TV after his first show.
During an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, Kunaal Roy Kapur went down memory lane and said, "I did a lot of theatre and television for a while. I did a show titled Just Mohabbat. After that, I was not so keen to continue doing television, so I started doing photography."
The actor, who was recently seen in Radhe Shyam, further mentioned the advantage of having a base in Mumbai. "The advantage of living and having a base in Mumbai is that opportunities come. Luckily, for me, since Mumbai was my base, it became easier to be around. And when you are around, opportunities come up. So, I was lucky enough that opportunities came my way and one thing led to another. And I am just happy that I can make a living being an actor," added Kunaal.
Work-wise, Kunaal Roy Kapur's latest project is Aadha Ishq. Directed by Nandita Mehra, the web series also features Aamna Sharif, Gaurav Arora and Pratibha Ranta. In the web show, Kunaal Roy Kapur plays the role of Aamna Sharif's husband. The web show premiered on May 12, on Voot Select. And it has been getting a good response from the audience. In the recent past, he was seen in Tribhanga and Radhe Shyam.
