"In my mind, we're going to do something else," the actor, who played Charlotte York-Goldenblatt, said in conversation with former co-star Mario Cantone.
“And Just Like That...” might have earned more hate from viewers than love, but series star Kristin Davis says she’s still hopeful for another chapter of the “Sex and the City” franchise.
On Sunday’s episode of her “Are You a Charlotte?” podcast, Davis confirmed she hadn’t watched the series finale of “And Just Like That...,” which aired on HBO Max in August, “because I’m in denial and I would like to remain that way.”
In a conversation with former co-star Mario Cantone, Davis also acknowledged that the episode, titled “Party of One” and set during Thanksgiving, wasn’t memorable or profound enough to serve as the series’ conclusion.
“I know what was on the page, and I know that when the girls and I got together for dinner and we were like, ‘Wait, what did we do and what did we do?’” she said. “And we couldn’t really remember, which is not a good sign.”
“This is not based on anything real,” she continued. “In my mind, we’re going to do something else. I don’t think it’ll be a whole season, but I think we will do something else.”
