“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert said President Donald Trump can’t run for office again ― but that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to raise funds.
“And just like Trump, his fundraising emails keep getting weirder,” Colbert said.
In one message highlighted by Colbert, Trump asks: “Will I hear from you before Valentine’s Day?” and has a button for “Take Poll.”
“Just what everyone wants on Valentine’s Day,” Colbert said. “A 79-year-old man begging you to ‘take poll’.”
The message from Trump to a supporter named Chris also says: “I hope you STILL love me Chris. I didn’t think you’d leave me hanging this close to Valentine’s Day.”
