Kevin McCarthy set to meet with Trump at Bedminster club

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is slated to meet with former President Donald Trump in Bedminster, NJ, on Thursday, Trump said in a statement ahead of the gathering. 

“Kevin McCarthy will be meeting with me this afternoon at Trump National in Bedminster, N.J. Much to discuss!” the statement said.  The gathering marks the second time McCarthy (R-Calif.) has traveled to meet with Trump since President Biden took office, having previously flown to meet with the former president at Mar-a-Lago in January.
