In September 2021, Satheesh grew suspicious after his health improved when he stopped eating at home. He asked his friend to find out if his wife was drugging him. She revealed to the friend that she had been drugging Satheesh’s food and water.
A woman from Pala town in Kerala’s Kottayam district was arrested for allegedly drugging her husband’s food. Asha Suresh (36) was arrested by the police after a complaint from her husband, Satheesh (38).
The couple married in 2006 and lived in Pala. Initially, Satheesh struggled with his business, but that changed after he joined the ice-cream industry. In 2012, the couple purchased their own house in Palakkad.
According to the complaint, Asha quarrelled with Satheesh over trivial matters. As time passed, Satheesh noticed he was tired and getting fatigued. He consulted a doctor, who suggested low sugar might be the reason.
But, even after taking medicine, his health did not improve.
In September 2021, Satheesh avoided eating home food and noticed his condition improving. Becoming suspicious of his wife, he asked his friend to find out if Asha was adding any medication to his food.
When the friend approached Asha, she revealed she was adding medication to Satheesh’s food. She even sent him a picture of the medicine on WhatsApp. After that, the man retrieved CCTV visuals from inside the house and gave them to the police, along with his complaint.
According to police, the wife even drugged the food and water Satheesh took to the office. As per her statement, Satheesh did not give her anything from his wealth or assets.
