IMD predicts light to moderate rainfall in Kerala for next three days, with possible heavy showers in four districts.
Light to moderate rainfall is likely to continue in Kerala for the next three days with weak westerlies prevailing over the State.
According to a weather bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday (June 7, 2025), light to moderate westerlies/ north westerlies are prevailing over Kerala and Lakshadweep area in the lower tropospheric levels. Under the influence of only light to moderate rainfall is likely over the State.
However, a change in weather is likely from Tuesday (June 10).
A yellow alert warning of isolated heavy showers has been issued for four districts – Ernakulam, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Pathanamthitta – on Tuesday.
