A man in Kerala has been arrested for allegedly murdering a youth and dumping his body in front of a police station. The incident occurred on Monday, January 17, at a police station in Kottayam.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Shilpa Dyavaiah has confirmed that police have caught the accused. “The accused has confessed to the murder and says he acted alone. However, we suspect someone else’s involvement in the crime too,” said the SP.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
