An order revoking the suspension was made by the state chief secretary on Tuesday after Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan approved an official recommendation. He will be back in service from Wednesday now that his suspension is revoked.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
