Ken Jennings Gives Hilarious Advice To Travelers After Kristi Noem Firing
HuffPost
The "Jeopardy" host ribbed Noem over her infamous TSA airport videos following her sudden ouster from DHS.
“Jeopardy” host Ken Jennings fired off a sarcastic set of instructions for air travelers after news broke that President Donald Trump had fired Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Thursday.
“If you’re at the airport, and Kristi Noem is doing the ominous little message from the TSA screens, you no longer have to do anything she says. Leave your laptop in the case, whatever,” Jennings wrote on Bluesky.
Jennings’ post was a not-so-subtle dig at Noem’s prerecorded videos giving instructions to travelers waiting in line at Transportation Security Administration checkpoints in U.S. airports.
One of those videos landed the Trump administration in hot water for featuring Noem blaming Congressional Democrats for the government shutdown last year.
“It is TSA’s top priority to make sure you have the most pleasant and efficient airport experience as possible while we keep you safe,” Noem said in the video. “However, Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government, and because of this, many of our operations are impacted, and most of our TSA employees are working without pay. We will continue to do all that we can to avoid delays that will impact your travel. And our hope is that Democrats will recognize the importance of opening the government.”
