The Delhi government has challenged L-G Anil Baijal's decision to overturn the appointment of lawyers to argue as public prosecutors in the cases related to violence during the farmers’ protest this year and communal riots in Delhi in 2020.
The Delhi High Court on Friday issued a notice on the Delhi government’s petition challenging Lieutenant Governor (L-G) Anil Baijal’s decision overturning the appointment of a panel of prosecutors to argue cases related to the farmers' protests and the North East Delhi riots.
