Kash Patel's Use Of This 1 Word In Charlie Kirk Farewell Has Social Media Buzzing

"What kind of Marvel Cinematic Universe government do we have right now?" one X user commented.
FBI Director Kash Patel is getting low marks for his handling of the Charlie Kirk murder investigation, and a remark he made about the far-right activist is raising eyebrows from many people on social media.
During a Friday press conference that took place after Kirk’s suspected killer was arrested, Patel sent a goodbye message that bordered on the bizarre.
“To my friend Charlie Kirk: Rest now, brother, we have the watch, and I’ll see you in Valhalla,” Patel said, referring to a realm featured in Norse mythology.
The reference seemed strange to many because, as RawStory noted, Patel was raised Hindu and Kirk was an evangelical Christian, leading one person to remark, “What kind of Marvel Cinematic Universe government do we have right now?”
The Economic Times noted that Patel’s goodbye note to Kirk combines two longstanding military farewells: “We have the watch” is part of a Navy retirement tradition, while the Marines use “Until Valhalla” to honor fallen comrades.
