Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister CN Ashwath Narayan came under fire from the opposition for allegedly giving preference to brahmin community for vaccination over others in his constituency. Photos of priests taking the jab went viral and this was in the deputy CM's Malleshwaram constituency. Congress spokesperson Brijesh Kalappa said, "It's shocking even for bjp memebers that how can vaccine be given to one caste? Other caste people were forbidden from taking the vaccine and it happened right under the nose of deputy CM Ashwathnarayan."
