Karnataka Congress leader Veerappa Moily tests Covid positive after attending Mekedatu march

Veerappa Moily becomes the fourth Congress leader to test positive for Covid after attending Mekedatu march. As many as 64 Congress leaders and workers, including DK Shivakumar have been booked for taking out a rally violating Covid restrictions.

Karnataka Congress leader Veerappa Moily tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday after attending the Mekedatu march. A total of four leaders have now tested positive.

Earlier, a day after Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar refused to take Covid test, two Congress leaders had tested positive for Covid. Both came in close contact with Shivakumar.
