Karnataka activist murder: CCTV visuals show police arresting accused at 3 am | WATCH

In a CCTV footage from Shivamogga, the police could be seen detaining an accused in the Bajrang Dal activist's murder from his home at around 3 am on Monday.
The police in Karnataka's Shivamogga have arrested six people in connection with the murder of Bajrang Dal activist Harsha. The first arrests were made on early Monday, just hours after Harsha was stabbed to death in Shivamogga.
CCTV footage from the area shows the police detaining Nadeem, who is an accused, from his home at around 3 am on Monday.
In the CCTV footage, the police could be seen searching the accused before escorting him away.
On Tuesday, Shivamogga SP Lakshmi Prasad said that six people, identified as Asif, Sayed Nadeem, Rehan Sharef, Nihan, Abdul Afnan and Kashif, have been arrested in connection with Harsha's murder.

Besides them, at least a dozen people are in police custody in connection with the murder case. Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra said on Tuesday that a detailed investigation, encompassing all angles, including the Hijab row, role of religious outfits, funding and who provided vehicle, is being conducted.
"Police have performed their duties. We appeal to people not to allow any room for disturbing peace. The government will certainly arrest the criminals and get them punishment appropriately," PTI quoted Araga Jnanendra as saying.
