
Kanpur: Dead leopard found in fields near Sachendi highway; investigation underway

A leopard was found dead in the fields near the Sachendi highway of Kanpur. The police suspect that someone must have killed and thrown the body of the leopard in the field.
Recently, a dead body of a leopard was found in the field near the Sachendi highway in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It caused a stir amongst the villagers.
Police suspect that someone must have killed the leopard and thrown his body in the field. The police reached the spot as soon as they received the information.
The local people have also informed the forest department and the investigation is on.
In another similar incident, the body of a dead leopard was found lying in a field in the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The farmer, who reached the farm on Saturday morning, immediately informed the local police post after seeing the dead body.
The forest department also reached the spot and sent the body of the deceased animal for post-mortem.
