AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal addressed the party's Punjab MLAs at a virtual meet on Sunday. He said in Punjabi, "[CM] Bhagwant Mann has done a tremendous job in just three days!"
Addressing the party’s MLAs in Punjab at a virtual meeting, Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had done a great job in just three days.
“Teen din mei Mann saheb ne kamaal kar ditta,” he said in Punjabi.
Bhagwant Mann was sworn in as the new chief minister in Punjab earlier this week. This comes after the AAP swept the recently concluded Punjab Assembly election, ousting the Congress and forming the government.
In his address, Arvind Kejriwal said, “I am very happy that the people of Punjab have given us so much love. In the last few days, Bhagwant Mann has done great work. The whole country is talking about him.”
The Delhi Chief Minister said that compensation for crops damaged during October’s unseasonal rains in Punjab had already been released. Further, an anti-corruption helpline had been announced.
Speaking to the ministers, he said Bhagwant Mann would set targets for each of them. If these are not met, then the public will ask us to change the minister, Arvind Kejriwal said.
He also asked the ministers and MLAs not to sit in Chandigarh but to go among the people and get work done at the ground level.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

India's original Dhurandhar, Ravindra Kaushik, rose from acting at college theatres, to infiltrating the Pakistan Army as a RAW Agent. He provided critical intelligence on Pakistani troop movements and the country's nuclear programme, but died a lonely death after his betrayal and subsequent capture by the ISI.
